BGFIBank Group urges online vigilance

The BGFIBank Group warns all its employees about the proliferation of fake social media accounts (Facebook, LinkedIn and WhatsApp) impersonating the Group’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, as well as fraudulent websites.

The Group strongly denounces and condemns these malicious acts and urges staff members not to place any trust in the information published on these profiles and websites, and to report the perpetrators of such acts.
These accounts, whose interfaces are shown below, have been created under the following names:

  • “Henri-Claude Oyima” (Facebook and LinkedIn);
  • “BGFI” (WhatsApp Business).

BGFIBank reminds the public that its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer is not present on social media, except through his official Twitter account. For any information relating to the Group’s activities or those of its Chairman and CEO, BGFIBank recommends referring exclusively to the following official channels:
